1974 F250 with factory air conditioning. I need to buy a heater valve for the heater hose. The actuator has 2 air fittings, so far the only ones I can find are for the later style with one fitting. Is it possible to use the single fitting style by connecting it to the correct hose and plugging the extra?

Thanks for the diagram, it looks like they modulate the water flow to control the temperature. It must have been less than optimum because the change to single port valve later. I think I have a 1975 HVAC control panel. i will locate it and see if it will swap out.

There's only ONE heater water valve for 1974's from serial number U40,001 & 1975/79 // see all the applications for this puppy
It's spliced into the heater hose on the right rear of the engine compartment.
