Door Locks & Interior Lights?
My 02 F350 Lariat, CC, 4x4, 6 speed has a weird electrical or power management problem. The power door locks only work when key is on or in accessory position also work with key fob. The interior lights(dome lights) only come on with key on or when doors unlocked via the key fob. Just opening doors does nothing for interior lights. When they do come on turn off ignition close doors they stay on for about 15 minutes. The radio stays on when drivers door closed key off about 50% of the time.
What I've done so far: checked all fuses and 306 delayed accessory relay. Replaced and reprogrammed vsm. Replaced driver's door latch assembly.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to remember if your year has a SJB or Smart Junction Box which is located under the glove box on the right passenger foot well.. (Where you access fuses etc.) If your tuck has the SJB it will be there and it controls RKE (Remote Keyelss entry) and the LCM (Light Control Module) as well as power door locks etc. I would start there if I were you and determine if you have an SJB.

I am not sure about a smart junction box, the only thing under the kick panel on passenger's side is fuel cutoff switch. All the fuses are on driver's side under steering wheel. Thanks for the response I still haven't got this problem fixed. Not getting to much help here,

I am having the same issue with my 05 F250. I recently tried installing led interior lights and it seems like that is when I noticed it start having the interior light issue. I tried putting the regular bulbs back in thinking the led was not working but still doing the same thing. I am noticing the same issue where I unlock the truck and the lights come on. then I start the truck and the lights go off and when I open the door they do not come back on. Once I turn the truck off the lights will come back on for a bit till the timer turns them off and don't come on again till I lock the truck and unlock it again... Have no idea how to fix this, I just bought the truck a month ago.
