The "plan" is to drive it for a little while and collect the parts and pieces to lower and shorten it. As well as redo the interior. 3" 6" drop C Notched and shortened to 121.5" WB and sprayed Tru Blue pearl or Dark Midnight Pearl
with black leather interior. It will be an ongoing project.(as funds allow!)
well I sure hope you share it with us with lots of pictures sounds like a fun project
I definitely will be! I'm excited about it, I've been looking to do this for about 10 years now!
A fellow member who shall remain nameless (cough JimJam cough) got me interested in lowering a F250!!!
I started a RCSB dually project for a customer a couple years ago. It got a tuxedo black ‘16 Platinum bed, doors and front clip. It was getting late ‘16 dually fenders too. He was supposed to run 26” dually wheels. On a 3/6 drop. I guess he ran out of $$ or lost interest, because he didn’t come back to have me lower it and put the front clip and interior in it.
I never wanted a lowered RCSB dually until this...
He said he was friends with these guys and wanted to build a truck like this.
well I'm going to be honest I never saw the purpose in lowering a perfectly good pickup truck. But I'm just a redneck who thinks of a pickup truck like a hammer, a tool to get work done. I also see guns this way and I never understood bling bling guns with lots of fancy stuff but there are a lot of guys out there that love them. Again it's always just been a tool for me. I will admit though that I do like good-looking vehicles. I'm a big fan of Chip Foose and he lowers everything he gets his darn hands on. So I'm looking forward to your project
I understand that completely, I still have the OG that started it all that is listed in my signature. It will be the work truck once I get the trans fixed. The newer truck will be something for me and my sons to toy with and work on. I'm not building it to be a barn burner by any means, just something that is different and fun to play with. I mean eventually I may go with injectors and a turbo! (Famous last words!)
