In need of the STRONGEST steering pump for a 96 F350 7.3 Diesel
The original pump I am sure worked great for the Factory OEM Tires but, it's a crew cab long bed and is a very big truck with big wheels and tires and lift.
Just looking for the strongest steering pump that will bolt up the same way as the original bolts up
And their box or the Redhead unit is all I can think of for you. Maybe hydroboost is a better option with a beefier pump. Wish I could help more, but maybe if there is a 4x4 section here you could ask them. A ram setup with a Sag pump may be the best bet. I put a Sag on my F150 as I could not get my CII to quit whining, drove me crazy.
Obviously a large external cooler and inline filter, Magnefine, are both a 'must do' to help you.

Do you have any first hand experience with that pump, it has mixed reviews on summit racing.
I just know of them since the pump leaked on my 6.4. They actually made an improved one and are based here in North TX. Pump leaked onto the track bar I think and oil ate bushing as I recall.
Be neat if we could Saginaw swap these trucks. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, there was a direct fit Sag to fit the OE CII bracket. Those have dried up so gasser guys, at least small block and I6, do E-series brackets.
Maybe an E-series Diesel guy can tell yoi what pump they have fitted.

I’m actually good friends with the owner of AGR (now AGR Steerco). He bought the company about 3 yrs ago and has really busted his *** to build a great brand from where they were. They supplied all my gearboxes and pumps when I was racing Broncos in Baja. You can call them, tell them what you need and they will customize to your application. Owner’s name is Josh...tell him Scott sent you and he’ll take good care of you.

Cool thank you Scott, I've been looking for something for awhile.
