2002 excursion mirow and rear door lock problems

Mirow on my 02 X is partially blacked out, it is an electronic mirow. Is there a fix or if replacement, what vehicles have the same mirow?

RR door does not unlock on the inside. Have played with the switch panel and no luck. Door will open from the outside.; What would probable cause be?

The mirror would have to be replaced. Check the child lock on the door latch. There is a little lever that will stop the door from being opened from the inside.

Are you talking the rear view mirror? If so lots of other ford vehicles of that time frame have the same mirror and swap right in. I got mine from a freestyle in a junkyard for $10

Yes, I see lots of them on ebay but which will work How is the mirow removed?

have checked both drivers door switches and mechanical lever on rear door. RR door is still locked on the inside.

Just to make sure we are on the same page are you saying the door will open with the outside handle but not the inside? If so when you open the door there is a little lever by the latch that moves. It is only 1/4"x 1/4".
