I got pulleys and brackets from a efi 460, from my brother in law, to put on my 70's motor. I am planning AC with the sanden compressor, and I have the van bracket with the Saginaw pump. Reasons aside, I am doing the swap and am past the point of return. My issues arose when I purchased a 95' 460 3G 130amp alternator (a little trigger happy). It fits in the aluminum portion fine (long bolt hole), but I cannot for the life of me figure out the tensioning end. I tried my best to find photos online and only seem to find the 2G configuration. I don't know all the year changes so I can't be too specific with the searches and picture results rarely match the year searched. I may end up fabbing something before its all done .

For anyone wanting to put the 130amp version in. The same bracket will work with 1.25" offset holes. The alternator adjustment functions flawlessly like this. It does require adding material to the inside hole. An old bracket, mig welder, and a belt sander to the backside made quick work of it. My biggest worry was I would not get full adjustment out of it. No problem though. It should also work to go back at any time.
