Hello guys and thanks for taking some time to read my post. I’m looking to get new tires. Right now I have wrangler authority 31x10.50R15LT on stock rims. I also have 2inch wheel adapters all the way around to give me a better looking stance and because of that I had to trim the front bumper a bit because of rubbing issues. It looks really good. That was about 4 years ago and now I’m dew for new tires.
My question is, am I able to go a tad wider with a tire size? I don’t wanna buy a set and then them not fitting just right. I saw a set of wrangler radials that were About an inch wider but it was on a 17r, I was gonna see if they offered it in my rim size. But I don’t wanna have to trim any more bumpers because I’m running out of spares.
First tip is loose the wheels adapters that create unnecessary wear on the ball joints and wheel bearings as well as other steering components They in no way benefit the truck and create poor handling characteristics. Just another trend that needs to stop. If this is a 2wd I would stick with the 31 10.50. If it is a 4wd or if it is leveled you can get away with 32 11.50.
