Ok, just got my Eagle Alloys 058's 16x8 for my '91 F250 4x4 HD and I want to know how big of a tire I can go with no lift. I was thinking maybe 285/75R16, but I'd like some input from someone whose got a similar setup. Any tire suggestions would be appreciated also, I want a more aggressive tread since it's not a daily driver. Thanks.
285/75R16s will work good on your truck...especially on the 8in rim. I had those tires on the stock rims of my F350 and it squeezed the tires a bit more than I like them to.
8" wide? daaaang. Thats skinny. If you want an offroader, you need to go to at least 12.50's, but I recomend 14's.
As for the largest tire size (diameter) do you have a front end bumper replacement? If you do, then you can easily get 38x12.50R16s. But if you have the factory front end bumper, then you can get 35x12.50R16s.
