Bellhousing boltpattern
Hi, does anybody know if the 87 2.9 and the 90 4.0 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern? I know that all of these engines look the same.
I have a 90 ext cab Ranger 4.0 with a bad A4LD tranny and I bought a wrecked 87 Std cab 2.9 A4LD with a good tranny to swap them out. I was hoping that the bellhousing and torque converter bolt patterns were the same.
