Engine hours
Are the engine idle hours automatically added into the engine hours or would I have to add the two to find out how many actual hours my Motor has?
ie:
engine hours 2000
idle hours 500
total 2500
or is the total already 2000
ie:
engine hours 2000
idle hours 500
total 2500
or is the total already 2000

A bit of a sidebar here...
There was a forum member that did extensive testing to see what affected the "idle hours" number. It didn't take much. Stopping at a stoplight -with the engine running of course - would bump the idle hours. My idle hours are about 15% of the total engine hours. It's higher than I would like to see, but I'm not going to switch the engine off just to shave 30 seconds off my idle time.
