Thanks for all the input. I have called comp cams. They are supposed to be sending me a return label so I can ship back the cam and lifters. Well see how that goes. Everything is apart and ready to go to machine shop for work/inspection.

That makes sense Crop Duster. shot peans the sides of bore, not round anymore.

Not fixed yet. Currently waiting for machine shop to do the machine work. Hopefully will be done machine work soon.

Did you check for push rod length and add lifter preload into it ? Aftermarket cams are usually ground on a different base circle than stock. Add machine work into the mix, valve and seat work, milling, etc and your most likely going to need a different length push rod for the motor.
