Serpentine issues. I have change that god damned serpentine belt over 5 times now and yet the belts dont last more than 500 miles, might be exaggerating, and always making me being stranded. When i assemble a new serpentine belt, there is still a slight chirp that usually tends to happen. But when the ripping of the belt immense, the chirping starts. I have had already checked all the pulleys and all turn properly top idle pulley turns freely but has a slight wiggle. I inserted a hollow stem in where the bolt inserts through the pulley and wobble seems to be still be there, but not as bad as how manufacture delivers. Could it be that the a/c pulley is the culprit? I have a refrigerant leak and well clutch works and stops. Could it be the reason why the belt keeps ripping off from the outer edge, facing you if you were to look at the engine, be the reason? I need an opinion , but rather have a solid answer. Does anybody know what are the specs on torquing the bolts to the idle pulleys? I tighten them as far as i will go but just not sure if i should keep it like as i did or go as what, or if there is specs, about tightening the bolts. If i get an answer i will pinch my nipples and bite my lips for you guys. Lol

I would still check all the bearings, They are not that hard to replace. The only bearing that is not worth replacing is the A/C pulley do to
the cost of the bearing and the difference of the cost of a new pulley. Other things to check is that your getting all the groves set. I would
also check to be sure that the pulleys have the correct grove count and the belt matches that.
I had a tensioner eat a belt when the bearing failed with little indication other than some rusty dust.
