So according to Forscan my 2020 F450 is only averaging 83 Km between regens. More frequently than I would have thought but its happening in the background and I don't notice any difference other than a slight smell sometimes when I get to where I am going. Still seems too frequent and maybe Forscan is lieing.

Are you sure that was average distance between regens or was it distance to last regen? If you are only doing short trips to the store, I could see it but that has to be the lowest average I have ever heard of. Lol There is something that can cause it to read wrong but I’m drawing a blank right now.
I asked my buddy. Some have reported that the average distance can be reporting wrong when using forscan. It does show correct with IDS, or believed to be correct. He doesn’t know why since he doesn’t use forscan anymore. He said a few trucks have come his way with complaints of too many regens. He said he checked the average and it was no where near what was reported by the customer and a few customer have admitted to getting their average from forscan.
Good to know I figured that couldn't be true. Whem I brought that parameter up I said wtf.
It’s been a while since I’ve looked at the stats on forscan. Is there a PID that shows how many KMs the average regen cycles are? Maybe that’s the 83km. Id have to look but I think you have the right PID shown. My license expired and I haven’t renewed it in a couple months because no need to with all this covid crap. Lol I usually look with IDS when my buddy brings it over.
My 2020 Gen-3 6.7L just turned 520 miles and still no indication of an active regen. I watch the "Instant MPG" religiously and so far haven't noticed the characteristic drop on the instant MPG screen. 22 mile drive one way to work. Just an observation post, not a "Concern" post

Its possible for only a partial regen to happen. Such as driving through town where you can't trust the lie-o-meter and it regens from "full" down to 70% or whatever. You couldn't tell from the fuel consumption unless your cruising on level ground. Get Forscan, it's free for 30 days and enable the DPF gauge. It's super easy.

Does ForScan have to have a specific bluetooth reader. I know there are a ton of posts out there, I'm just a tad bit challenged at the moment :-(
I have been using the OBD Link MX+ for 7ish months now with zero issues.
Thank You for the reply. Going to investigate I would certainly like to know what percentage the DPF is before I turn off the road to the house to know I need to expect to enjoy an extra few miles of driving ;-)
Most will say just drive it and not worry about. Certainly nothing wrong with doing that, I'm just the type that likes to know and doing an OCR in my driveway sure does get the adrenalin going!

I am wondering the same thing, just got a new 2020 truck is at 600 miles. The DPF screen and OCR are enabled and auto regen is off. The DEF range is showing 6000 miles and the DPF is at 70%. Average mileage has been the 19.1mpg. The only thing I should mention is the fact the truck was filled by the dealer with Biomass Diesel at delivery and I just filled up again with it because its very common here.
