Hello all, in a huge pickle here.
I needed to replace the ignition lock cylinder. Now my alarm goes off every time I connect the battery to the car and I can't get it to turn off without disconnecting power.
Is there some process to reset the alarm system?
Thank you!
The lock on the drivers door has been somewhat broken for a while, the inside bracket that secures it in place had fallen off inside the door and I never did anything about it.
Took the door apart and re-secured the lock cylinder.
With the horn disabled, I connected the battery and put my key in the door and unlocked a few times and it all shut off finally.
Real big "OBVIOUS" now that I think about it, but with that damn horn blaring in my garage, I couldn't get a cogent thought processed.
