Disconnected battery - alarm problems
Help,
I disconnected the battery to clean the battery tray, and when I hooked it back up the alarm system is acting up. The door locks will lock and unlock from the key fobs, but the alarm doesn't sound anymore. Also when I enter the vehicle with the key (alarm supposedly set) the alarm will not sound. However when I do set the alarm, reenter the vehicle by using the unlock on the key fob - the engine will not crank - I have to use the bypass button to start the engine. By the way it is a 1994 F150 with the factory Ford alarm/keyless entry system. I don't have any manuals on this alarm system because I bought the truck used.
Any help would be appreciated.

Glad to hear it..
Seen lots of things with alarm systems and audio (not to mention ECM's) after battery disconnects...if all else fails, reboot!!
