gooseneck recomendation

I recently purchased a new hauling machine. I've done a little research on gooseneck hitches. What I want to know is what is the most recomended gooseneck hitch out there. (i.e. fold away type, turn over type, or others) Would like to be able to still utilize the bed without having to seriously remove any hitch assembly. Don't want to be cutting massive holes in the bed either. Am I being to picky?

Thumbs up Agree

Fully agree with 79. The B&W is probably one of the best. It gives you the best of both worlds. And if you inclined you can also still add the 5th wheel style hitch in it. B&W sells a 5th wheel buddy hitch that drops right in. Real nice system. Just wishing that I had gone that route to start with..

Thanks for the input. I know that the B&W is spendy but it seems that it must be worth it. One question though. Does the ball lock into position for theft prevention. I know that a pin holds it into the hole but is there some sort of lock for the release lever? You know you gotta keep the honest people honest.

Say, guys where do you get the B&W hitch? It sounds like what I want also, but haven't heard of it.

I got mine from a local truck accesory shop. It doen't have a way to lock the ball in but you could make something to make it lock if you need too.

Thumbs up B & W Hitch

Any local RV dealer has access to B & W. Also you can order it on line at B&Whitch.com. And yes I do think it has a locking mech to prevent theft...
