Rubber plug in door frame
Can anyone tell me where I can find the plugs that go in the holes on the vertical face of the forward door frame? The holes are about 1/2 way up.

You mean the rubber plugs that fill the hole where the dome light switch goes in the Deluxe Cabs?
I found some NOS rubber plugs on eBay. Check there. I don't think any repop store sells them ....
But maybe check Restoration Specialties in Winber, PA. Google to find their website. They have a lot of stuff for all makes and models. I'm sure other cars used this same plug for various things.

Here is a page from Restoration Specialties. I couldn't copy their picture but these plugs look like the right ones. I'm not sure of the size however.

I had to take a screenshot to post the pic. They also have ½" hole plugs.

Great advice everyone. I didn't put two and two together on the dome light switch. I have a standard cab. Thanks again.

Did they come out in one piece? If so, wow! Considering the condition of the sheet metal, I figured the rubber would be shot too.

They actually pushed through pretty easy, can't remember if I tossed them or threw them in the bucket with everything else..

The ones on my 54 were toast back in 1999. The ones in my 55 F350 are still there and in good shape.
