POR 15 is good , but , affected by sun light.
I powdered coated my 55 pickup frame & am completely satisfied.
Eastwood also a good choice.
Thanks. Years ago i was in seat manufacturing and had my local guy powder coat our seat brackets. I like that look, and it's tuff as nails. I had to tumble the brackets first to remove all rust and break down the sharp edges. Powder coat gets thin in those areas. Did you do anything special to the frame?
I had mine powder coated also. They blasted the frame prior to coating. Mine was done almost 10 years ago. It is stored inside but still looks like new.
I painted my frame with Nason chassis paint which is identical to Eastwood. The truck has been on the road for 12 years and 100K miles and the paint still looks good when I wash it.
I have nothing to contribute except that is a sweet looking truck!
Thanks guys. Im not sure who owns this truck, but i would like a closer look at it. And ask a few questions. I have an 8n that will look just fine on top. Enjoy your evening. Michigan is suppose to go down in the 40's tonight. Wool blankets again. Here are a few more pics.
That is a very neat COE! It is well done. Even has the air compressor on the engine!
But it looks like he is still searching for a front bumper.
Will paint your Ford tractor red?
I saw that too, no bumper. Not sure i would use fog lights. And my mirrors are original. The air horns look good. Need to swap out my split rims too. Remember the caged pair?
They might look good painted the same. It's late, go to bed, talk with you later coach.
