Engine harness bolt together plug swap
I'm doing an engine swap 300-6 to 351w the 351 has a obd2 harness and the truck is obd1 i have a obd1 harness for the 351 but the bolt together connector on the truck is square and the one for the harness is round.
I'm trying to find a diagram that shows the colours and locations the pins need to be in so I can swap the round plug for the square one. Does anyone have one or know where to find it?
Or would it work to simply colour match the wires on the two sides? As I have yet to see a diagram that shows the bolt through connector.

The only bolt together option you have is a complete underhood harness from a V-8 donor of your truck's year.
No reason at all to go OBDII

You had/have a complete 96 OBDII truck, or just the engine?
If so what exactly is it, 150, 250?
And your current truck is a 93-6 with what trans?

Your absolute best bet would be source a 93- 5.0/5.8 truck & get the entire harness under hood.
It's possible that a 92 or 94 harness would work, but I wouldn't do it myself with out wiring diagrams for both.
That will plug into your main cab & light harness & will give you greatest likely-hood getting it up & running soonest.
Don't use any of the wiring harness on the 96 engine.
