If the only thing it’s missing to make it a “complete” KR is that tailgate emblem, I wouldn’t worry. Could have been de-badged or it may have always been missing. I’ve seen plenty of badging errors on new cars at PDI. Even seen a black door panel one time on a tan interior suv. Makes you wonder what else passed QC..
It does not have the chrome package. Everything else is King Ranch (wheel caps, emblem by the doors, seats, etc.) and neither the Car Fax or the Auto Check had anything about any accident/replacement work.
At least it's not missing the large chrome applique. The dealer should be willing to throw in the small badge to make the deal. I can't imagine that badge costs more than $50. As long as it has all of the functional elements listed above you should be good.
Thanks again for all the awesome responses! What would you guys think is a fair deal on a 17 KR F350 CCLB with 78,000 miles? In the middle of wheeling and dealing with the dealer...

There are many ways to feel good about the deal.. where does their asking price fall when you do a search within 100 miles for similarly equipped trucks? Is it factory or modified? How are tires, brakes, the windshield, interior (smell/wear)? I’d want those areas to be in as good condition as possible for 78K miles and the asking price to be near the lowest, but not the lowest. What’s the trucks story? Local trade, wholesale purchase?
Thanks for suggestions. Really got me thinking on things. I pretty much met all of my criteria but I couldn't get them down where I wanted. Guess I'll keep looking.

I wouldn’t pass it up completely just because the price isn’t right. I was just asking those questions to bring up some factors that influence asking price. They may have it priced 4K above market and they may try their luck on getting someone who wants that exact truck and is willing to pay a little more. If it’s the truck you want, I’d make them an offer and support your offer by pointing the reasons why. Ex: I’m offering you 1k less because it has halfway worn tires and needs front brakes in the next 10k mikes.
Ive found that most of the factory dealers will replace windshields, tires and fluids prior to sale. Also, many will give a 60 or 90 day warranty, so if something like brakes do go bad shortly after purchase, they will fix it. Not so sure about the small used car lots.
What were they asking for the truck? I havent shopped used in awhile, but I would guess with 78k mi. it would be under $50k.
