I'm finally contemplating tossing out all the wiring that my dad saved over the years for the '64 and '65 Corvairs. At the time there were not as many options for new wiring, so at some point it just became a habit to stuff old wiring in a box every time he came across a parts car, wreck in the yard, or just something others (those neat-freaks!) were tossing out.
Now that I have such easy access to proper wiring, the old stuff can finally be retired.
