Side Mirror glass removal

Side Mirror glass removal
How do I remove the side mirror glass to replace the motor?

It’s just cheaper and easier to replace the entire mirror.

I think you can reach in there with a hook and and pull catches on the plastic mount on the back of the mirror.

Exterior mirror glass
  1. NOTICE: Position the screwdriver using the service slot in the mirror glass backing plate to remove the mirror glass. Prying on the backing plate in other locations may damage the mirror glass.
    Remove the exterior mirror glass.
    1. Position the mirror glass in and up.
    1. Using a flat blade screwdriver separate the exterior mirror glass from the exterior mirror motor.
    1. NOTE: The number and location of the electrical connectors will vary based on mirror option content.
      Disconnect the exterior mirror glass electrical connectors
