Did you make the door panel Dan? I like it ..simple and clean. Since I don't have the panel trim, I'm skipping the idea of panels right now....maybe down the road, when there is nothing left to do to the truck.....hahahaha.
Black armrests will look real nice on those panels
Yes I made the panels. My buddy had the material left over from a project he was doing so I don't know what it is exactly or where he got it though I suspect Home Depot. Got the armrests in making brackets suggested in your other post.
Ordered some stuff for the front edge in chrome and some in black. Going to decide next week when it gets here from fleabay.
The plastic chrome on the front edge. The black Better angle And the chrome again.
so, which one do you guys like better. Mind you neither is properly trimmed, I'll do that after I decide.
x2 on the chrome. Is the black going to work around the bezel? Looks like maybe it did. That's smaller stuff than I had pictured in my mind. Terrible focus on my camera.....lol
I am about to order the armrest and the clips with the correct screws. My question is on the install process. I have white inserts in my door. Do I remove those find the holes then cut out holes in the inserts then install the inserts back onto door and then install the armrests. I am nervous about cutting holes in the insert before knowing exactly what I am doing lol.
Take a sharpie, reach into the door and mark the back of the insert through the screw holes in the door. No guess work in where to make the hole in the door card. The handles are going to cover any issues right where you drill.
