Welcome to the New and Brighter Future the gov't of CA has imposed upon you. Perfectly good trucks now unsalable.

On the other hand here's a typical 7.3 of a lower GVW in my area. There are more expensive trucks out there, this just seemed modest.

Can't make a more apt display of market distortion due to gov't intervention.
