Ok ive got a bunch of parts and motors and i want to know what the best combination for a good hot rod would be, So heres my parts selection I have, 1964 352 police interceptor heads, 352pi stock 4 barrell intake and carb, 352 pi cam, 428 cam, 1975 360 complete stock motor 2 barrell, 1972 360 stock complete motor just been rebuilt to stock specs with 2 barrell, 390 bare block and a 390 crank what is the best combo out of my parts that i can make for the best horsepower, oh by the way the motor will be going in a 1975 f150 2 wheel drive with a C6, any info would be great thanks
u really want to show up the chevy guys don't you. I'd work on a 390 block setup. Get it bored .080 and get a 428 crank. No the hell with it get a 427 sohc motor. the dual quad carb version making 657 hp and the single 4bbl still makes 615hp.

haha i get made fun of all the time by the chevy guys, thats why i need to get a lot more hp so i can shut them up, so thats why i need to know with the parts i have what i can do to make a lot of hp, thanks
check to see if the 352 heads are in good shape and compare valve sizes to your rebuilt 360. Take the 352 PI intake/carb and best heads/valves, spring for a newer grind Cam like a crane 343901 or 343941 and install on the rebuilt 360. I think it's the best use of what you have. The cam and lifters will run about $150. There is really no point in going through all of the trouble torun one of the used older cams. It's just asking for trouble.
Add a hot ignition and a decent flowing dual exhaust, headers if in the budget.
