Looks better? I didn't buy based on looks. I bought mine because they don't let water over the edge of the mat except by the door.

Don’t get the Ford mats. The passenger side will not stay in place and it’s a PIA. I have them in my F150.

Now, I have Husky X-acts in my F-350, my other truck, and they are exceptional for fit. The passenger side comes with a pin to lock in the mat from moving the pin installs easily in the carpet and the mat snaps into it. Mat is easily removed for cleaning.
Replying to my own posting with a picture of the Ford passenger in my F150. This shows the mat that never stays in place. I took this picture yesterday and this is how the mat looked when I opened the door.

The mats or liners for that matter will fit 17-20.

Im just going off the fact that the oem carpeted mats, oem tray style mats, and all the aftermarket mats/liners fit 17-20. It is strange that the mats you are interested in (hc3z-2613300-ka) Ford all weather mats(?), only show fitment for 17-18 from some sources. Ford accessories site shows them as being compatible with 17-20.

Thanks to this thread I had to go and order Husky X-act. Much better fit and coverage than the Ford mats. The Ford Super Duty mats look real nice but just don't protect like these. Well worth the 130 bucks good advice.

I could’ve sworn these only fit vinyl flooring trucks ?

i read somewhere that the retention pins are different locations for vinyl floor vs carpet floor

i really wanted to use hc3z-2613300-ka in my carpeted F250.

You might be right. Is there not a Ford all weather mat for carpeted trucks?

Yes. There are Ford All Weather heavy duty floor mats for designed carpeted trucks, and a different set of Ford All Weather heavy duty floor mats designed for vinyl floor trucks.

The differences deal directly with how the floor mats are retained in place, so if mat retention is an important feature (it was an essential safety factor and liability issue for my application), then one is urged to order the appropriate mats for the flooring application.

The Ford ones are not that great either. Just go with a aftermarket set.
