So I looked at the instructions included again and I think they are completely backwards. I'm looking to blame myself first (i'm usually the problem) but it doesn't make sense. It shows the driver side negative as connecting with a ground wire down on the engine and just a connection at the battery. The other side shows a connection with the ground wire coming from the terminal on the passenger side. Rather than worry about it, I'm just going to swap it up since I already have the driver side done and move the ground wire down to where it should be on the frame.
They shorted me a plastic cap cover so I may end up calling them this week. When I do I may ask them about those directions.....
Couldn't respond to the starter question, I swapped in one of those 2000+ SuperDuty starters a while back, connections worked fine for positive cable.

Yes I fully agree the directions for the negative cables is backwards, as well they are missing labeled.
Can you take a pictures of your battery connections? i want to see if I did mine right.
Todays update only had a couple hours to tinker with this. NO WAY will the OEM style cables work with a OEM 3 bolt starter I even tried unbolting the starter putting the cables on and installing the starter its not going to happen.
So I also took the TYC starter and a jumper cable and connected it to the hot post. I was getting 12v on the post and 0 on the small one thats ment for the 10g wire which is good. For what ever reason when it was on the truck and I checked the voltage of the small 10 g wire after it was was hooked to the starter it was reading 12v on the other end in the engine bay. I think the solenoid was just stuck. Would you guys try running that starter or should I just warranty it out. If the solenoid stuck right out of the box I feel like it would be dumb to put it on the truck. Otherwise the truck will be down till I can get another 2 bolt starter.
Looks like I'm due for a new set of battery cables.......
What are the best "plug-n-play" cables available? I want to purchase, and have a local reputable shop do the install. Also, does anyone know what the book time is to install so I can get an good idea of what to budget for this project?
