I have the stock AM/FM radio in my 1977 F350 CS, changing out the door speakers, two wires one black, one black with white markings which I believe is the positive? Also if anyone has a schematic or parts listing for spare tire holder that would be great.
An easy check is take a flashlight battery and see which connection makes the speaker cone push outward. Hook both speakers up the same so they are "in phase".
If you're putting in modern speakers check the ohms.
I don't recall if the new ones are 4 ohm and the old were 8 ohm or the other way around. but if you put the wrong ohm speaker in it will destroy your radio in short order. it's not a possibility it will destroy it. I ruined several before I learned why.

I thought the factory AM/FM radio used one speaker in the dash as did the AM radio. The factory AM/FM stereo radio had the speakers in the doors. They were 3.2 ohm speakers.
Which spare tire holder? There were more than one.

What year is that speaker ? I checked and the older speakers were 8 ohm and newer ones are 4 ohms. I assume 3.2 would pass for 4 ohm but I don't know that.
I'm not sure what year they changed, I know the early 70's were still 8 ohm beyond that I'm not sure. but I am sure what happens if they're wrong.

I don't know what year that speaker is. The part number on the box (D2OZ-18808-A) makes me think that it's from the early 70s. I couldn't find that part number in the Master Catalog for Truck Parts. Maybe it's for the cars.(?) The 5-1/4" door speakers (also 3.2 ohms) for my '76 F-250 have a part number D5AZ 18808-A and were supposed to be used for 1973-1978 E&F series models (with the stereo radios) according to the parts book.

Yeah, it's for passenger cars and has a superseding part number: D4SZ-18808-A marked: D20A 18808-AA 5" round. Used in full size Fords, Thunderbirds, Torinos, etc. It was listed as front door speaker.
