milodon oil pan I inherited an engine with this gigantic golden welded up square god forsaken huge yellow of a thing, anyone using these? I would love it to have a new home if some one neeeds this. NOT FOR SALE Pay shipping (probably a significant amount, it is huge) and you may be the proud new owner.
I pulled it apart, its pretty dirty and HUGE so I need to wash it and get carton figured out so I can try to get out to you It has this wierd tin coverover the oil, like factory to keep the oilin there or keep the oil from returning there or maybe a place to collect sludge and cause damage??
well sorry I work 12-14 hours a day and have been farming and doing some hay for a few hours at night and broke my pickup and spent an entire weekend rebuilding the front dana 60 dueto some mud that was deeper than it looked. I will look today for the tube. I still need to wash it, find a shipping carton, and measureit up only to find that you may not be able to pay for it or something likea bunch of the other parts I shipped. Maybe today I can work around the house to get that worked up. We have had record wind, and record hail here where I live they tell me so working outside wasn't a priority for some old parts. I haven't forgotten but I don't really have endless time to do these efforts. I guess if you are in a huge hurry you can drive out to CO and pick it up. I wasn't aware a big ugly aftermarket oilpan was a detrimental part of you truck. If you told me the steering column broke and you need your truck to run I would be more concerned with priority, Remember, I farm, run my own business, heat with firewood, drive truck when needed, and just don't have a ton of spare time.
Thanks for the honest reply. I'm not in a hurry. Now that I know you're a busy man, I have no problem waiting. It's for a project truck, so it's not a priority but is a pretty important part. Thanks again for replying and keeping me up to speed.
Do you have the matching pickup tube ? That's was and still is an expensive pan to go buy new. That's awful nice of you to give it too a member.
Still nothing. Oh well. Back to the junkyard search. He seems like a really busy fellow. He hasn't responded to this in about 5 months now and hasn't been on for a month.

Are you looking for a aftermarket rear sump pan or a factory rear sump pan ?
I think either would be fine. I just need a rear sump to clear the front axle of the vehicle. I might have to end up using another engine for this thing. Im using a 351C that was laying around, but it's taking forever to find the appropriate parts and the guy with the parts is pretty worthless when it comes to keeping his word. I would understand if Warhorse would just back out saying he can't deliver. Sometimes people make promises they can't keep, but to keep whining about working and not having time to throw the pan and pickup in a tote and ship it because of rain, sheesh. Literally takes 15 minutes.
