Alright, I had a little time this morning to check out a few things. First, my front axle it one inch wider than my rear (front = 64.5 inches, rear = 63.5 inches). This is good to know if you want to make your wheels exactly the same width with wheel spacers. Just gotta order 2 a half inch different from the other two. Second, my wheel studs in the rear measure exactly 2 inches. So if you do not feel comfortable cutting your studs, you will have to order a 2 inch spacer minimum. Third, I measured one inch for the stud sticking out past my wheel (sorry no pick of that). I hope this info helps others. I think I may wait on wheel spacers until I get wider tires (35x12.50R18) and see how she sits then.

Thanks. Did you happen to check if the front studs were also 2"?

No, I did not. I am 95% sure that they are though. There's no reason why they shouldn't be.

I used hub-centric 2" in the front and 3" in the rear for quite some time. one regret is i did not grease them prior to installation and they were a pain in the *** to get off when i got my new wheels. i purchased mine from wheeladaptersusa.com. i did use a grinder to shave the non-threaded tips off the studs.

Beast deal I could find on quality Hub Centric (this is a must) wheel spacers. FORD F250 F350 8X170 HUB CENTRIC WHEEL SPACERS ADAPTERS 2" HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS

The only problem is front lockout hub is deep inside (but not too far) the center cap on my stock wheels. Use anti-seize when installing.

This is one thing that I keep thinking about. How much of a PITA is it to twist the locker?

I have WARN stainless lockouts, so the turn pretty easy, also they come with a little tool to assist (I guess for the limp wristed types) that also helps if needed. Or you could make one like this from PVC to keep in your glove box.

Im a little confused here guys. I’d really appreciate it if somebody could explain the Under 2” spacers = you have to trim the lugs? It’s just not clicking for me.

I’ve got the 2.5” readylift level kit going in next weekend, so I’ve been looking at different wheels/tires sizes lately. I really want to keep my 20” stock wheels, but would like to have a slightly more aggressive stance. I don’t want to have to get fender flares though. Thinking the BORA spacers might be an option, but not sure what size, and why 2” or less seems like more work.

Because if the wheel studs are longer than the thickness of the spacer, then the wheel will not be able to seat against the spacer face.
