Wheel Spacers

Has anyone installed wheel spacers on their truck? I can't stand how the wheels are tucked so far in. I don't want big spacers, something like 1.5". Tell me the pros and cons. And pics too, please.

Well, that video confirms what I always thought, 1/4 inch spacers are useless. STX7.3, are your wheel studs short enough to clear the wheel with the spacers installed?

Interested to know what you find on the length of the studs. I would like to do 1.5-2 max but don't want to cut studs.

Today was a good day for it but I chose work on my '78 F150. It's supposed to rain for the next couple days. I will post as soon as I do it.

These are beyond the best you'll ever get for wheel spacers. https://www.wheeladapter.com/

Do some reading on his site and you'll be blown away.

Then when you get them and see how well they're made, you'll be glad you went with them.

i run BORA on two other vehicles. no issues. Proper installation is KEY. you could just buy aftermarket 9" wide wheels with a 0 offset to get you the stance you want.

As long as the nut is 100% threaded you are good. You don’t get more strength from unused thread. I put a lot of weight on that truck and never had an issue. Ran 37x12.50r20 Toyo mt
