65 “wrongbed”
can’t figure out vin doesn’t look like the vin out of trucks of that year 65 f100 4x4

It a Canadian built truck. I can decode it tomorrow if someone else doesn't do it first. Too late for me tonight.

120" wheelbase, must be a 4x4 and probably a color that was not a standard color in the U.S.

I'm thinking the 4 after the L must mean 4 wheel drive . I'm not sure how many Candian built pre-1966 4x4 trucks I've seen plates for - might be the first one for me.The decode section in the Canadian manuals doesn't list exactly what that means.

The 4 meaning 4x4 would be my guess too. I have never seen a 2 for 2whl dr
