I don't know a thing about them and have never seen them before. This is just my own opinion about products like this. This may be fine if I was only drag racing or driving to the local store but I drive my Y many long distance trips and I don't want to be stuck out somewhere with some thing that only has one parts supplier who may not even be in business in the future. I don't have a lot of confidence in the electronic crap probably made with off shore components. I use a Pertronix 11 but I still carry a back up Pertronix 1 and points and a condenser with me.
As a guy who a few years ago didn't know how to totally time my f100 and now I have done it so many times , this dizzy is very appealing to me. I really wish there were some users that have been using it for a good long while to know it lasts. I am very close to ordering one.
If I just had to spend 500+ bones on a distributor it would probably be the custom Y block offered by FBO ignition in Oregon. They make them out of FE distributors and setup the advance curve. I'd avoid that other thing like the plague.

Are you sure the dizzy is the problem and not something like a slipping balancer?
I guess its always possible of a slipping balancer however my 292 was completely rebuilt by a pro shop 4 years ago. I dont drive it crazy hard but i do drive it often through summer.

Do you know that they had the balancer rebuilt? I would invest a few dollars for a piston stop and verify TDC vs the timing marks before spending big bucks on a dizzy
So funny you say that Hiball cause i just got my piston stop in the mail. Thats exactly what I am planning to do. I am obsessed with the timing and its perfection. I have even questioned if this isky cam was timed properly. its the 4444 cam. But inspecting that seems to be much more complicated and may be outside of my expertise.
I haven't heard of that brand, so that throws up a flag for me. The distributor also looks a lot like the Chinese MSD copys that tend to sell for far less, another flag. If they have just put their name on one of those distributors, then it is way overpriced.
However, there is a chance that it is something different, totally legitimate and maybe even US made. Anyone who is interested, ask lots of questions, first.
Edit:
Should have read the description first. Tuneable using your phone and no mechanical adjustments. That is pretty cool.
If I didn't already have a fairly well dialed in MSD "ready to run" distributor in my 292 it would be tempting, especially with a fresh motor. Changing timing/springs/weights/vacuum can offer coarse adjustments and is trial and error. The Bluetooth angle makes that dial in easy. Easy to adjust for elevation, time of year, different fuel...I encourage someone to buy one so I can live vicariously.
