Just hunting down the pin out for the 26 pin C2280D and found this thread. Excellent info because the pinout is here in a PDF which is fantastic info, but the post itself did point to the wrong pin for actually opening the liftgate so thought I would hit this reply for any others looking to actuate the rear hatch. The pin to send the negative signal to is pin 7 as the "Liftgate release switch signal". Pin 16 is not the one to send a signal to in order to operate the liftgate. Pin 16 as noted on the very much appreciated pdf is "Liftgate ajar switch signal". This is the signal that displays output signal from the liftgate latch switch to the BCM. It tells the vehicle computer the current state of the liftgate: open or closed ("ajar" or "not ajar"). This is used to illuminate the dash warning light and control interior lights.
