All - I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. I'm doing a remote start installation on 2007 Lincoln Navigator. I was able to find all the wiring to get the remove start to work and power locks. I have a power Liftgate on my truck and I would like that to work with my Prestige APS997Z aftermarket alarm. I need to locate the 26 pin Connector in the Smart Junction box and look for a brow wire to get that to work. The problem is that the connector that I believe is the 26 pin connector has a lock that I thing I need to push the tab all the up but I'm afraid it may break. Here's my question has anyone of you installed an aftermarket alarm in your truck and keep all the features that comes with the OEM remote like illuminated entry where the car lights up the parking lights and fog lights when you unlock and the Dome light as well? The power liftgate opens up with the aftermarket remote? Also can this wire be located on the driver side kick panel and if they can be located what colors are they?
Thank you for your reply. I'm trying to open the liftgate with the aftermarket alarm. They told me it's brown wire Pin 7 of the 26 pin connector. Most of the wiring for the aftermarket alarm is found on that connector. If that's the connect with white tab that you push up, I can't remove it. I'm afraid that if I push it up to hard, it may break the tab.
What circuit is this pin 26 for? You haven't really told us what it is exactly you're trying to accomplish with the liftgate.

Well someone has their wires crossed somewhere because the open and close switches for the liftgate run to the liftgate module, not the SJB. Give pin 7 at the hazard/traction control/liftgate switch on the dash a ground (pin 4) to activate the liftgate to open.

Thank you @alloro this is very helpful to finish my installation. If I apply a negative pulse form the alarm it will open/close.
Are you asking if it will work or are you saying you tried it and it did? If you're asking then I'm 90% sure the answer is yes.
I'm trying that today I need to remove the part of the dash to access that switch. Unless you have a better idea if that wire can be located in the side kick panel, so I don't have to remove that part of the dash. On another note do you know if my dome light is negative somewhere so I can tap into it. I know they're positive and I'll need a relay to get my dome light supervision.
No there isn't a negative control anywhere in the circuit. Your relay contacts should go to fuse 25 and output pin 25 (YE/GN color) of the SJB. Another easy place to tap into the pin 25 output is the glove box lamp switch since output pin 25 goes to that switch.
Behind the driver's kick panel there is a larger connector (C238). The wire you want is pin 1.

Thank you this is very helpful. So the wire I want there is the one for the power liftgate which is Pin 1 on that diagram that you sent me. so I don't need to remove my dash. One more thing and I'm sorry for all these questions. Can you please tell me which wire should I tap into it on C238 for the rear glass and whether it's neg or pos? Thanks

Reason: another question
Pin 1 on that diagram that you sent me. so I don't need to remove my dash.
That is correct, the pin 1 wire runs from the liftgate switch on the dash all the way back to the liftgate module at the left rear of the vehicle. Giving that wire a negative pulse (or hold) should mimic the switch and operate the liftgate.

Thank you for your help. I'm sure this will help anyone in this forum that wish to do an aftermarket alarm on they Exp or Nav. One more thing and I'm sorry for all these questions. Can you please tell me which wire should I tap into it on C238 for the rear glass and whether it's neg or pos? Thanks

That circuit doesn't run through connector C238. It runs straight from the liftgate module to the SJB located behind the passenger kick panel. At the SJB connector C2280D, pin 16 is the wire you want. There's nothing saying if it's a positive or negative signal so you'll have to put a meter on it and pop the glass to see what you get. See the attached PDF.
