Driver's Door Lock Problem

I bought a used 2016 F250 crew cab.

All the door locks work (lock & unlock) perfectly with the switches, key fob, keyless entry and door key.
EXCEPT the driver's door lock will lock (in all modes) but, will not unlock except by using the key in the door or by pulling up on the plunger.
When activated, it clicks (like the solenoid) but, nothing happens to pop up the plunger. Goes down, no problem.

Is there a linkage that perhaps came loose?

Anyone have a Fix? Easy one I hope.

It would be my guess the actuator is bad if it only works in one direction.

Replace the actuator. It uses the same linkage for both directions. Actuator is the only moving part in the system and from what you are stating its only moving 1 direction. Easy fix.
