Stainless works is no longer offering the "off-road" headers. The only option now available is the high flow cat long tubes. This is the 2nd or 3rd performance company i have seen that is pulling "off-road" products. guessing there is concern of being fined with the current administration.
Stainless Works headers & cat back exhaust now installed.
Tune updated to reflect addition of SW full exhaust.
Had before & after dyno runs (done by Davenport Motorsports) with install of exhaust.
Dyno before reflects truck already running an S&B Cold Air Intake with 5 Star Tuning 87 Octane Performance Tune using SCT X4.
Dyno run after reflects truck with SW full exhaust and updated 87 Octane Performance Tune to reflect added exhaust.
Will be trying the 94 Octane Performance Tune later this summer with dyno results.
The one thing I did notice after install was the absence of air intake noise heard inside the truck under acceleration. Prior to SW install, I could hear intake noise under acceleration. Now that noise is absent. Kind of miss that.
i noticed the same thing with the intake. i no longer hear that but can hear the exhaust in the headers. did you get lucky with no broken bolts for the install?
thats good. i had 2 or 3 break and the truck only had 25000 miles on it. it wasnt the worst the shop dealt with though. they did headers on a v10 super duty and 75% of the studs broke.
Interesting, my truck has about 5000 miles less than yours.
The shop I used, Davenport Motorsports, was expecting difficulties with stubborn and broke studs but found my truck to be easier compared to other 6.2's they have worked on, mostly Raptors.
