6.2 Headers

Any experience with the SW headers? I'm wondering what the power output would be with the stock exhaust. I haven't really heard an exhaust I like that's more of a touring with ZERO drone hence why I would maybe keep the exhaust stock but add the headers and highflow cats. Although a differant engine I'm waiting for 5 stars blue truck with stock exhaust and just headers. It sounds better now too with the factory exhaust.

its seems as though no one has done any dyno testing with the headers.ive seen peoplepost about buying them but no actual info after purchase and tune. ive asked 5 star and they didnt give me any numbers of what they have seen.

long tubes seem to be the only ones that make a noticeable difference when dynoed... across multiple engine combos.

i would say pretty good. between the headers and the switch to a custom tune the truck gained 61 whp and 41 wtq on 93. I'm trying to find time to get back on the dyno with e85.

That's fantastic to see man!! Please tell us how it drives, I keep hearing how great the 5 🌟 tunes are for shift points, because the stock shift programming is rediculiously bad.✌️

what did you use for cats to keep the CEL off and pass emissions?

i'm emissions exempt in PA. The tuner shut off the post cat O2 sensors.

there was a power gain with 5 star tune. The truck with intake and catback gained about 28 whp and 8wtq with a 5 star 93 tune vs untuned. the transmission tuning and throttle response change are the noticeable improvements with the 5 star tune i had.
