Ok. I would be inclined to say it is your AC compressor. If it were me, I would call the dealer it is at, and have them check that for sure.
AC compressor is located lower pass side of the engine.
I was thinking along the same lines, something belt driven locking up and causing the noise and the belt to smoke.
Could be one of the idlers also
I was thinking that the noise sounds like those coronavirus-looking alien invader things from the movie Edge of Tomorrow. If that was the case -and it still might be- just be careful when you open the hood. You seriously don't want a face full of any of that.
THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE FOR THE SUGGESTIONS AND INPUT............................................. ......
LOOKS LIKE YOU WERE RIGHT....IT WAS THE AC COMPRESSER.
I contacted the dealership ATTEMPTING to make the repair. I told them to start the truck, turn the AC ON and turn the truck back off. Let the truck sit for 20 to 30 minutes and start the truck with the AC ON.
I received a telephone call from the dealership so happy, they figured out the problem......NOT
Come to find out the smoke that I was seeing was actually AC coolant. It was popping a high pressure or something like that. I guess it was about out of AC coolant.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH...........................
