Nice. I have always liked the two tone pickups of that era

That is a gorgeous pickup! They did a great job on it--you must be quite pleased. It looks right at home under those puffy clouds on the plains.

Unfortunately those puffy morning clouds often generate afternoon thunderstorms and hail! But I am happy with the restoration.

Dang, too bad someone swapped tailgates at some point. But, still a gorgeous truck either way. What is on the floorboards? Is that lizard skin sound deadener?

The original tailgate was rust through and through. The new one is a Dennis Carpenter repo. The cab floor and bed are body colored spray on bedliner.

Where did you get that shifter boot and ring? 64's didn't use a boot and I would like one for mine and like that one.

The shifter boot was on the truck when I got it. Not sure where the source was. After the headliner issue, it might be a 1965 option?

Your truck is beautiful.
A second life for that old classic that should live on for decades to come.
Congrats on your effort and investment.
Enjoy her as best you can while being safe.
Best wishes toward full enjoyment, Pete

And the truck will spend 95% of her remaining life inside my garage next to her sister, a 1967 Mustang convertible. My wife and I will take her out in fair weather for local drives but not much else. Until one of the sons inherits it.

Okay, I lied. One more picture of my father in law sitting in his truck.
