As the title states I'm trying to put the dpf back on for resell. It threw 2 codes after it initially ran and shut off. They are P0403 & p2455. I never did take the egr off or do anything with it. I'm wondering it's just dirty and needs to be cleaned up. The other code can be a broad spectrum of things from what I have read. I guess im wondering if anyone else had these codes after a delete reverse.
I had a friend of mine that has a 2 year old F350 that was deleted and reinstalled all the emission related components on his truck He could not get the truck to run right. He went to two different dealers and they could not fix the problem. He ended having to go to New Hampshire to trade the truck in because they do not have emission rules. He took quite a loss on the trade in. He said he will never delete anything any more. He buys a new truck every two years.
That's the way it's turning and will be that way everywhere.
Happening not only with trucks but started with cars back in the day, power plants, refineries, everyone is getting caught up in the EPA thing and it is even starting to happen in other countries now.
If you didn’t isolate the EGR valve from exhaust gas contact, it likely needs a good cleaning.
The 2455 code is pointing at the DPF pressure sensor. Was the module removed from the truck or did it stay on the frame unplugged and dirt/moisture allowed to get to it?

it was removed and stored in my shop. The only other thing I found was 3 of the egr temp sensor harnesses on the truck were bad. I had to cut them off and solder new ones on.
