Headlight problem
I am wanting to get my 64 F100 legal. Got to have headlights to get it inspected. Headlights worked when got I first got the truck. Had to rebuild the top end of the motor,. Rebuilt , went to go to turn the headlights on and they would not come on. Then I remembered I need to ground it to the block, I did and a headlights still will not come on the Park lights do and my running lights do but not my headlights. Has to be something simple not trying to put the cart before the horse am I thinking right that I need a new headlight switch. Any kind of help or advice would be appreciated, thank you in advance

Headlightsheadlights are new and they were working a month ago before I started redoing the top end of the motor it has to be something simple because they were working for the bulbs are new, and I checked the fuses that I was able to get two on the bottom of the switch. I am bolted the emergency brake so I'd be able to get to diffuses a little bit easier.

These old trucks have had a lot of time to get corroded or loose connections. I've seen them go bad pretty much over night. Not saying that's what is going on here in your situation but it sure wouldn't be unusual. Don't forget the junction block pin and socket connectors going through the firewall, these likely haven't been cracked open since Staubach won the Heisman.
