Steering Column part identification help

Steering Column part identification help
I was rebuilding a '63 3 speed column and had zero luck in finding any info on these two rubber parts located at the bottom of the column. They sit between the lower column flange and the shift tube/ linkage area. Anyone know what these are?

2WD or 4WD? 1961/64 F100/250: The steering shaft goes directly into the gearbox, so to remove the column, the gearbox comes along with it.
