April 2020 Chat Thread

Hump Day is here!
Looks like old man winter came back for a brief visit. With the new water pump and thermostat the heat works great in Caddy. Ordered a new rear diff gasket and getting the stuff together to change the oil in the front and rear diff's and the transfer case. I will order the new front shocks soon. Detroit axle on Amazon still has not shipped my CV axle, if it doesn't ship soon I will cancel it and order one on Rockauto. Still doing the rear main but delayed for now since work is insane right now and we need every work bay to work on customer equipment. That will wrap up almost everything I want to do for now, still going to go thru the brakes but they have plenty of pad left so not a rush.

not sure whats going on here. have had meetings about hours and ****. As long as our time is on a billable work order i dont see an issue. The forseeable future might have some changes here.

Birthday was monday. Girl came over, we cooked some steaks and stuff. All our plans are postponed to this crap. Family dinner, date night, shooting night...... This birthday sucks. At least I saw my girl.

Glad everyone is hanging in there. We went out to the land twice. Thursday took the trailers out there, Showed Debra how to run the mill. She drove the Ranger some more. Yesterday was more work. Got her on mill. she did good. on the way home we were talking about how to improve mill operations.

new mill operator

Her first load of lumber

That's awesome!
My wife mowed the front yard yard for me yesterday and you think she ran the New York marathon! Washed the caddy and now heading back out to wash the Suburban. Going to pull the bike out of the basement in a little while.

Worked my butt off outside cleaning most of our vehicles, they had a nice shade of green/yellow pollen. I detailed the Caddy, washed the Dodge, the Suburban and detailed the Maserati. Going to detail the Hummer tomorrow. I pulled the bike out of the basement today, weather is warming up enough to be able to ride soon. Wife wants me to teach her to drive our zero turn mower tomorrow, this might turn out to be a Youtube moment!

YAY!!
All the vehicles have been detailed!!! Did the Hummer this morning before it got hot. I even detailed the motorcycle. It's nice to have more room in the basement now that it's moved outside and under the shed.
