Ended up dropping the transfer case which I didn't want to do. Got the transmission out, new rear main seal and plate gasket installed. I got the transmission and transfer case reinstalled and both drive shafts back in. I am exhausted.

I bet. We hung siding and worked on the shop floor. Yesterday found 2 wheels for the dump truck. Ordered tire tools they have changed

new style tire tool

They should be in Thursday, if the are we are going to take the camper up to KOA for the weekend vs driving 2 hours each way. Found a circuit breaker box ( 30) box of T8 led bulbs 10 for 25 and another dehumidifer for 30 . The guy I bought the dump truck has a bunch of old tin we got for 100.

I texted my boss and ask him could I finish up tomorrow, the old bones are hurting today. Realized I'm not a spring chicken anymore. He said it was OK, also the daughters birthday today and they are coming over for dinner.

I know I can feel it more and more. Good thing is I don't have too much to do to finish up. I need to install the torque converter bolts, starter and exhaust pipe. Then install the passenger side tire and fender liner. Also have to top off the transfer case with fluid. I need to do a good pressure wash underneath when I'm done.

it takes me forever to do anything any more. be so glad when the gym opens back up.
Debra learned how to use a transit yesterday. She helped me develop a site layout for the mill,a drying shed the solar kiln and the shop out there. she coming up with ideas for the both houses.
We are planning on going up to Canton for the weekend so I can work on the dump truck Saturday and hopefully get it ready to come home. we have to make another trip up there to bring it home since she can not drive the truck.
Today is work on yard day.

If it's wasn't the daughters birthday yesterday we would have worked on the yard. Wife said she is mowing the front yard today but I am betting that she won't. Jumping back on the Caddy around lunch time to get it finished. The money I just saved in labor cost paid for 2 more vacation days in Orlando!

Debra not comfortable on the mower yet. Wrenching does not have the appeal it use to. Do it now when I have too. It hurts too much now.

Getting changed and started back on the caddy, glad to finally get her done.
I still enjoy wrenching but some jobs just hurt more than others.

Got the caddy done today and no more oil leaks!! I am so glad that is done.
Called the wife and told her I bought her a present, she said from work? I said yes, she asked what did you buy? I bought you a Honda self propelled mower with a bagger. She was like OK, thanks I guess. I got it home and she loves it. It is self propelled and she can bag the grass clippings and give it to her birds. She ended up mowing around the whole house.

That normally the type present women want.

Debra needs new clothes Went to Walmart she could try anything on and they have stopped returns on clothes.
In a brighter note we will have dinner at longhorn or outback Thursday

I know it's not the normal present a woman wants but she pulls up grass to feed to her pigs and birds. She can now cut it and I get help mowing grass!

that works. Told Debrathe compound miter saw was going to be a gift to her. Added some stuff to our big equipment want/need list . a forklift , and a track loader. those are down the road. what every we get will have to be older. so I guess I be wrenching on big stuff I am starting to realize we are going to end up make money off the mill, wood working, and who know land clearing.

My mom broke her femur (thigh bone yesterday) she 80. Not sure when the surgery is.
