since half year im owning a ford f350 from 1979 with 460cui and c6 transmission from arizona. the transmission worked well until my trip to finnland in january this year. then happens burned clutch and friction plates which means now forward moving anymore. the repair has done there propperly but now after about 2000-3000 miles driving i have feeling that there is some little changing in shifting gears. maybe its only feeling but is there any need to adjust the intermediate band after short periode of driving? i think the complete overhall was made very professionell. what is the real torgue need for intermediate band setting, best i can work is nm. the us units are not so common for me and i noticed that there is some different notes in www.
as i told its maybe only feeling from myside.
but by the way its a very great truck and hole family love it.
