c6 trouble
I have a c6 that was rebuilt several years ago. I drove the truck when I bought it , and it drove great then I put the trans in storage for a few years wile I finished the truck, now the driveshaft only turns one way,, I even tried to rock it a little to see if I could break it loose but it wont budge .
does anyone have a idea whats wrong ? do I need to tear it down ?

I would need a better explanation of the situation. Is C6 on or off truck? You are turning the out put shaft of C6 or the drive shaft of the truck? How do you know what gear the C6 is in, assuming it is off truck, ?
If the C6 is on the truck now, how did you determine where to hook up the shift link?

c6 trouble
the c6 is in the truck, the shifter is un hooked and I can put it in all gears by hand, the driveshaft will only turn in one direction in all gears except park it wont turn in any direction. like I said in the first post I thought I may be able to rock it and if it was a clutch pack stuck it would break loose, it will go forward fine but not reverse. thanks George.
