Gross! Clean the cowl drains while in there.

Mine is a five speed so I have the MLE0 PCM. A chap on here sells good used PCMs, maybe you can just buy a spare for yours that is already flashed if early or has latest built in.

Yeah that's a good idea, I am thinking that my injector O-rings could use some love, and I'm going to pull the gages out and check the connections on them, because the tach did work and it randomly stopped.

Does the rest of your cluster work? If so, you have power to the tach... comes in on a red/yellow wire. And grounds probably work if rest of cluster lights up.

Looks like Pin 50 from the PCM is the tach signal. I guess run a continuity test from Pin 50 to the tach input, if it is fine, you need another tach.

EDIT -

These are the rings you want - https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/allia...ector-o-rings/
These are the plugs you want - https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/glowplugs-zd-11-94-03/
Do these while in there - https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/passe...el-line-94-97/ https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/drive...el-line-94-97/

Dieselorings.com for the CCV orings and the Stancore glow plug relay.

Holy crap thank you, I was going to buy the o-rings from auto zone but these are the same price and I would trust these ones more!

And yes I do have power to the rest of the gauges, they all light up, the only other gauge that doesn't work it the temp gauge (has an aftermarket gauge installed) and it has been like that for a few years I'm guessing,

Temp gauge for cluster is a sender on the water pump, it could just be disconnected or bad.

Buy this stuff too -

https://www.dieselorings.com/1994-19...ate-94-03.html
https://www.dieselorings.com/1994-19...v-o-rings.html
https://www.dieselorings.com/16-009-...lug-relay.html
https://www.dieselorings.com/1994-19...3l-diesel.html
https://www.dieselorings.com/1994-19...z-9f838-a.html

Do the oil cooler when ready to flush the cooling system and use Fleetcharge coolant plus an oil change. All those parts should keep you plenty busy and help the rig out a ton.

Ok awesome thank you! And the temp gauge I did not plum in, it was in the truck when I bought it, but maybe if i replace/check that sensor it will work again!

It is just basic NTC sending unit. 75ohm cold engine, 10ohm hot engine. Mounts right atop of the water pump, to the right of the heater core outlet. You can key the truck on, engine off, then just ground that wire (red/yellow). It should make the gauge peg.

My guess is after market gauge installed there.
