installing cab lights?
I have set of factory cab lights+harness that I am going to be installing on my 2001 f350. Found a guy on ebay that sells a template for 99-16 trucks as they are the same throughout those years. I have some questions. One, what silicone should I use to seal everything up? I typically use RTV but I want the best for this project. Secondly, I thought from reading on this subject from years back that there is some kind of special die/hole saw that cuts a perfect hole into the roof? Thirdly, whats the best way to deal with the headliner? completely remove it or just drop it down enough in the front to work?

Ok, got this project done a few weeks ago. Did use a ton of rtv. Been through several heavy rains and some hail....zero leaks
Of course now that I type this response it will leak come the next rain....
