Hello everyone. When I bought my 06 f250 I wasn't given the code for the keypad on the door. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to find out what it is?
It seems there are several differing locations for this elusive code. On our 2004 I had to lay on the floor, head by the throttle pedal looking up above the hump moved insulation and found the elusive box. But the code was on the sticker facing away from view. I snaked my arm up and around and using my phone after several attempts, took a picture.
good luck.
This is so obvious it's silly, but did you check the owners manual in the glove box (assuming there is one) for the credit card size piece of plastic with the code on it? Russ

That only works if the previous owner didn’t throw the card out.

I have looked and it is not there. I will find it tomorrow because today I am going to go see my daughters new land they bought to build the new house on.
I have seen posts where it was said there is a paper label behind the radio on the firewall that has the code. I tried looking for it on mine and could not find it, even pulled the radio forward. No dice.
I have used ForScan several times (2005 EX), have never seen that option. Could you elaborate please. Thanks.
I've retrieved them on trucks using the Lite version. Here's a screen shot.
. I just went out and tried it on my 05 and don't see the Keycode PIDs anymore. Maybe it was on a newer Ford. I blurred out a few digits even though it isn't from my truck. But this is what the readout would (use too) look like.
